Job Context:

ADN DigiNet Limited is a leading technology company specializing in enterprise software engineering and digital transformation. We are looking for a skilled Java & DevOps Engineer to support our client, working within a Data Team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development and DevOps practices, with a preference for Microsoft Azure cloud expertise.
This role involves building, deploying, and maintaining scalable data-driven applications and services while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Java Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and services for data platforms. 
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices to support data integration and consumption.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting.

DevOps & Azure Cloud Engineering:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies for application deployment.
• Implement automated build, test, release, and rollback processes.
• Monitor application health, logs, and performance; proactively resolve issues.

Collaboration & Governance:

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Platform teams to support data initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot. 
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, AKS, Azure DevOps, Storage, Key Vault). 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps). 
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and Git
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) is a plus. 
• Exposure to data platforms or analytics environments is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud security and access management. 

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in CSE, IT, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

Experience Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development and DevOps engineering.
